Ⅰ Application in dental restorative materials:
① Enhancement of filling materials:
In dental composite resin filling materials, diamond micropowder can be used as a reinforcing phase. Composite resin is a commonly used material in dental restoration and is applied to fill tooth defects such as dental caries. Diamond micropowder has extremely high hardness and wear resistance. For example, in the production of dental burs, diamond micropowder is attached to the surface of the metal shank through processes such as electroplating or sintering. These burs with diamond micropowder can be used for tooth preparation, that is, to shape the teeth during treatments like dental prosthetics and fillings. ② Use in polishing materials:
