Ⅰ Application in dental restorative materials:

① Enhancement of filling materials:

In dental composite resin filling materials, diamond micropowder can be used as a reinforcing phase. Composite resin is a commonly used material in dental restoration and is applied to fill tooth defects such as dental caries. Diamond micropowder has extremely high hardness and wear resistance. When added to the composite resin, it can significantly improve the wear resistance of the material. During daily oral activities like chewing food, the filling material can better resist wear and prolong the service life of the restoration.

② Improvement of the mechanical properties of materials:

It can also enhance the mechanical strength of the composite resin. ① Manufacturing of grinding tools:

Diamond micropowder is a key material for manufacturing dental grinding tools. For example, in the production of dental burs, diamond micropowder is attached to the surface of the metal shank through processes such as electroplating or sintering. These burs with diamond micropowder can be used for tooth preparation, that is, to shape the teeth during treatments like dental prosthetics and fillings. Due to the high hardness of diamond micropowder, it can precisely remove tooth tissues when grinding teeth and maintain the sharpness of the burs, thus improving work efficiency.

② Use in polishing materials:

Diamond micropowder also plays an important role in the dental polishing process. It is mixed with appropriate carriers (such as wax, grease, etc.) to make polishing pastes or strips. ② Cleaning and pretreament of implants:
